I kind of played a Death Blow/LungeRend hybrid at the end of Server Slam. You need to be very aware of monster types and health bars, though, to keep up the flow. You one-shot most monsters, basically nullifying the cooldown. I also tried Death Blow (also because of gear) which was really fun. Mainly because it depleted my Fury fo quick. I switched Rend for Whirlwind at some point (because of gear), but Whirlwind was pretty weak in comparison. It's pretty click-intensive, though, and you need to be accurate, but it's as challenging as it is fun. Or Rallying Cry, lunge in, Rend, then lunge around. Although I usually used it at the beginning of a fight.Įither leap in, Rend, then lunge. Leap helps with resource as well, also mobility. Rallying Cry (with upgrades) helps with having enough resource for you first cast of Rend as well as movement speed. You still need some Iron Skin of course, the life regen upgrade is epsecially good. Lunging Strike has an upgrade causing some bleed as well, which is good. Whenever there's multiple monster in front of you, cause some bleeding, then do you lunges (:D) causing more damage while they bleed, still not getting hit. Or lunge between monsters, so you basically dash between them and they can't hit you. Lunge, run away a bit, so they only hit air, lunge again. The first thing I immdiately liked was Lunging Strike (basic skill) you can quickly close distance with each attack, allowing to to play evasively as well as offensively.
